Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a serious accident in south Dublin that left an elderly woman with serious injuries.
The pensioner, who is in her 70s, was hit by a motorcycle just after she got off a bus in Ballinteer on Monday evening.
She was rushed to St James's Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

A garda spokesman said: "At approximately 7:45pm a female pedestrian aged in her 70s was seriously injured when she was struck by a motorcycle on Ballinteer Avenue.
"It’s understood she had just alighted from a bus and was attempting to cross the road when the collision occurred.
"She was taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital and has since been transferred to Beaumont. Her condition is understood to be critical.

"The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
"The scene was examined by Garda forensic collision investigators and enquiries are ongoing."
