Gardai appeal for witnesses to fatal Cabra crash that claimed teenager's life

Gardai have renewed an appeal for witnesses to a collision that claimed the life of a teenager in Cabra on Friday.

The youth, who was in his late teens, was riding a motorcycle that collided with a car at around 6pm on Carnlough Road at the junction with St.Finbarr’s Road in the north Dublin suburb.

He was raced to the Mater Hospital but died a short time later.

A woman in her 30s, who was driving the car, was taken to Blanchardstown Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigating gardai are anxious to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this collision or any road users who may have camera footage of the incident.
