Gardai have appealed for witnesses after a woman was allegedly seriously sexually assaulted in Cork.
The alleged late-night incident happened in a suburb during the early hours of last Saturday morning.
Detectives understand the suspected sexual assault happened in the area of Connolly or Vicars Road in Ballyphenane.
Gardai in Togher on Wednesday appealed for anyone in the area between 4am and 7am to come forward.
A spokesman said: "Gardaí wish to make contact with any persons who were in the Connolly Rd/Vicars Rd area between 4am and 7am on the morning of 24/8/19 and noticed anything suspicious.
"Or motorists who may have dash cam footage to please contact investigating Gardaí at the incident room at Togher Garda Station on 021-494712, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station."
