Gardai are appealing for witnesses after the death of a cyclist in Co Kerry.
A man in his 60s was found lying on the road at on the R552 between Ballylongford and Listowel at around 5pm on Wednesday.
The injured man was brought by helicopter to University Hospital Limerick where he was later pronounced dead in the early hours of Thursday.
After a post-mortem carried out today, Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with further information.

It is believed the man may have sustained the injuries after falling from his bike, and the incident is not currently believed to be a hit-and-run.
