Gardai appeal for public's help to find teen Gearoid Morrissey

Gardai are appealing for the public's help in finding a teenager who has been missing for almost two weeks.

Gearoid Morrissey, 16, was last seen in Mountmellick, Co Laois, on September 5.

He is described as being 5’7’’ in height, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

It is not known what he was wearing was last sighted, but Gearoid is believed to be in the Limerick area.

A garda spokesman said: "Anyone who has seen Gearóid or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on (057) 8674100, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
