Gardai appeal for information after violin goes missing on train from Cork to Dublin

Gardai in Cork are looking for help finding a lost violin that was left on a train to Dublin.

Anglesea Gardai have put out the unusual public appeal saying the violin was in a case that was left on a train last Thursday.

Posting a pic of the case, they asked anyone who can assist them to get in touch.

They said: "Gardaí in Anglesea Street are seeking assistance from the public in trying to locate a violin and case that was left on the Cork to Dublin train on Thursday 26th September, 2019 between 5.25pm and 6.15pm.

"Any persons who can assist can contact Anglesea Street GS on 021 4522000".
