Gardai appeal for help finding missing toddler and mum last seen in Co Cork three days ago

UPDATE: Gardai have now confirmed that Sebastian Cykov has been found safe and well.

Gardai are appealing for help finding a missing toddler and his mum.

Sebastian Cykov, 3, and his mother Monika Balazova, 31, have been missing for three days.

They were last seen in the Maldron Hotel, South Mall, Co Cork at around 11.30am on Thursday, September 3.

Officers said they are not aware of Sebastian's whereabouts, and they are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Gardai are also asking Sebastian's mother Monika to contact them immediately.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 3 year old Sebastian Cykov who was last seen at approximately 11:30am on Thursday, 3rd September, 2020, at the Maldron Hotel, South Mall, County Cork.

"An Garda Síochána believe Sebastian is in the company of his mother, Monika Balazova (31 years old).

"An Garda Síochána are not aware of Sebastian's whereabouts at this time.

"Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information on Sebastian's whereabouts to contact Anglesea Street Garda Station on 021 4522 000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

"Gardaí are also appealing to Sebastian's mother, Monika Balazova, to urgently make contact with An Garda Síochána."
