Gardai appeal as Meath teenager remains missing for over two weeks

A teenage boy has been missing from a Co Meath town for over two weeks.

The public have been asked to help in the search for 17-year-old Abaz Gjana.

The teenager has been missing from his home in Philpotstown, Trim since June 22.

He is described as being five feet and six inches tall, of slim build and has dark hair.

Gardai appealing for the public's assistance in the search believe he may have traveled to Dublin.

A spokeswoman said: "Gardaí wish to seek the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 17 year old Abaz Gjana who is missing from his home in Philpotstown, Trim, Co Meath.

"Abaz was last seen on the 22nd June 2019 in Philpotstown. He is described as being 5'6'', of slim build with dark hair and sallow skin.

"When last seen he was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a white hooded tracksuit top with a black design on the sleeves and dark coloured runners.

"Abaz may have travelled to Dublin and Gardaí ask anyone who has seen Abaz or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Navan Garda Station on 046 9079930, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
