Gardai are investigating after a car was driven into a shop and set on fire overnight.
Officers are looking into the incident of criminal damage by fire at a retail premises in the Moneymore area of Drogheda, Co Louth.
A vehicle was rammed into the store and set alight just after midnight at around 12.10am and smoke damage was caused to the premises.
There was also extensive damage caused to the car.
The car and the scene have been preserved for a technical examination.
No injuries were sustained, gardai said, while investigations are ongoing.
