Gardai have launched an investigation following the grim discovery of a man's body this morning.
The body was reportedly discovered by a relative in the kitchen of a house in Cloughduv, Co Cork at around 11am this morning.
The circumstances surrounding the death of the man, who was in his early 20s, are now being probed, Cork Beo reports.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Cork University Hospital, where a postmortem will be carried out.
Investigations into the man's death are ongoing and gardai are said to be keeping an open mind.
