An investigation has been launched by gardai following an alleged sexual assault incident in a Dublin park yesterday.
The incident is understood to have happened in Tolka Valley Park on the northside of the capital.
According to TheJournal.ie, the incident happened when a female was led into the woods by a male and the alleged sexual assault then took place.
The male is understood to have later been arrested in connection with the incident after fleeing the scene.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating an alleged incident that occurred in Tolka Valley Park yesterday, Saturday 30th January 2021.
"An Garda Síochána are following a definite line of enquiry."
