Garda hunt to track down man who horrifically assaulted two girls near quiet Dublin estate

Gardai have launched a manhunt to track down the thug who horrifically assaulted two girls near a quiet Dublin estate over the weekend.

Officers in Balbriggan are investigating the 'serious incident' that took place at 12pm on Saturday 12 December.

The man is understood to have approached the duo at the entrance to Taylor Hill Estate on the Castlemills Link Road before seriously assaulting them.

The attacker is understood to be in his early 20s, 5ft 8in in height and was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a grey tracksuit top at the time of the attack.

Gardai are looking for pedestrians or drivers who may have seen the thug who fled the scene on foot.

In particular, they are looking to speak to drivers who own a Red Nissan Qashqai, a Silver Skoda Saloon type car or a White Renault Megane that were in the area at this time, asking them to come forward as they may have vital information.
