Garda hunt for convicted pervert believed to be responsible for number of sex attacks

Gardai are on the hunt for a convicted pervert who's suspected of having carried out two sex attacks in Ireland.

Murad Khandokar, who's originally from Bangladesh, was caged for eight months in 2017 for sexually assaulting a girl on a bus as well as harassing her before the attack.

The 45-year-old is now wanted by gardai in connection with an alleged sexual assault on the Luas last May as well as an alleged incident in Ashbourne earlier this year.

Gardai are on high alert for the beast who they fear may have fled to the UK as there's been no sightings of him in months, according to The Sun.

Khandokar previously had addresses in Rush and Lusk and is under order to keep gardai informed of his whereabouts until 2023.

In 2017, Judge Dermot Dempsey told Khandokar he had no option but to jail him for putting his victim through hell.

The Judge also blasted him for showing no remorse and not apologising for what he had done saying he "reeks of denial".

The court heard how the victim felt Khandokar's fingers touching her thigh as she stood on a bus in 2015.

The victim said he kept moving closer to her every time she moved away.

She then alerted the bus driver who called gardai. As officers were on their way to the scene she sat down and Khandokar passed a number of empty seats and sat beside her.

He pled guilty to harassing the woman on unknown dates between January and October 7, 2015.

He also pleaded guilty to the sexual assault.
