A Garda hunt is under way for a west Dublin attacker who left a young girl in hospital after an assault over the weekend.
The young child was rushed to Tallaght hospital for treatment for her injuries after being assaulted in the Clondalkin area on Saturday.
She was targeted shortly before 4pm and her attacker remains at large.
A garda spokesperson told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of assault that occurred on the 22 May at 3.30pm in Clondalkin.
"A female youth was assaulted and suffered injuries and they were taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment."
The spokesperson added: "No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
