Garda hunt after cash robbed from petrol station in Raheny, North Dublin

A huge effort got underway last night as gardai went on the hunt for some robbers in North Dublin.

The thieves mad off with some cash from a petrol station on Howth Road at around 10.10pm last night.

Many locals noticed a helicopter flying over the area Raheny area as gardai tracked the culprit's movements.

A garda spokesman said no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

He said: "Gardaí are investigating a robbery that occurred at an establishment on the Howth Road, Raheny yesterday, 18th October at approximately 10:10pm.

"A sum of cash was taken during the incident.

"No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
