A garda helicopter was used to track down two burglary suspects in Co. Kilkenny last night.
One man, aged in his 20s, was detained at the scene of the burglary at a house in Johnswell at around 7.40pm on Tuesday.
A subsequent search was launched after a number of other males were observed leaving the scene in a car.
The two other men, aged in in their 40s and late teens, were found a couple of hours later and all three were taken to Kilkenny Garda station for questioning.
A fourth man was arrested today in connection with the incident.
A garda spokesperson said: "A further planned search was conducted at a house in Kilkenny where a fourth male aged in his 30s was arrested in connection with this incident.
"He is currently being detained at Thomastown Garda Station. Investigations are ongoing."
