Gardai disqualified a driver this afternoon after they found them in breach of serious laws.
Roscommon officers pulled over a vehicle and opted to carry out a roadside breath test.
The first of which was for the detection of alcohol, which the driver failed.
The legal limit in Ireland for fully licensed drivers is 50 milligrammes of alcohol per 100ml of blood while for professional and learner drivers it is 20 milligrammes of alcohol per 100ml of blood.
After they failed this test, gardai then decided to carry out a number of other tests, and found that he was also positive for both cocaine and cannabis.
The driver also had no valid insurance to operate the vehicle and so was disqualified from driving.

They will now have to hand over their licence and refrain from getting behind the wheel until their disqualification period is up.
In a post on Facebook, officers explained: “Roscommon Gardaí stopped this vehicle and found the driver had failed their roadside breath test for alcohol consumption.
“A further test also proved the driver had consumed cocaine and cannabis.
“The driver was also found to have no insurance and was disqualified from driving.”
