An idiot driver found themselves in hot water after being stopped in an "unroadworthy" vehicle by the gardai at a COVID-19 checkpoint in Dublin.
Officers were carrying out a routine checkpoint operation on the N7 yesterday morning when a little something on the windshield of a car set off their spidey senses.
Further investigation confirmed their suspicions as it was revealed to be an NCT sticker with the words "Failed Dangerous" in big red letters.
The car was then seized with a number of other vehicles.
The garda traffic page on Twitter said: "Gardaí from the Commercial Vehicle Unit at Dublin Castle seized a number of unroadworthy vehicles at a Covid-19 checkpoint on the N7 this morning.
"Their suspicions were raised in one case by the ‘Failed Dangerous’ sticker on the windscreen! Proceedings to follow."
