Gardai have seized two cars from the same driver in the space of 10 days - after they broke the same law on two separate occasions.
Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting a checkpoint in Newbridge in recent days when they flagged down a motorist.
Upon an inspection of the vehicle, they found it had no insurance, no tax and no NCT.
The car was subsequently seized by officers.
Remarkably, the same driver had had another car seized by officers just a week prior.
And it was for the exact same offence - no insurance, no tax and no NCT.

During a separate incident, officers at a checkpoint detected this motorist travelling at 102kph in a 50kph zone in Newbridge.
The motorist was charged with Dangerous Driving and risks bring disqualified for up to 2 years as well as facing a €5000 fine and up to 6 months in prison.
