Garda checkpoints Ireland: Disqualified driver nabbed by gardai for THIRD time in same week

A disqualified motorist is facing court in the coming weeks after being caught by gardai for the third time in a week.

The SUV driver was clocked by gardai from the Dublin Castle Roads Policing Unit on Friday.

When they stopped the road user, it emerged that they had been driving while disqualified.

It then transpired that the motorist had already been stopped for the same offence twice this week.

The individual was arrested by gardai and is due to appear in court in a few weeks' time.

Their vehicle was also seized.

Posting a picture of the seized SUV on social media, gardai said: "Gardaí from Dublin Castle Roads Policing today detected this SUV driver who was caught for the third time in one week driving while disqualified.

"The driver was arrested and charged and due before the Courts in the coming weeks. Their vehicle was also seized."
