Garcia and Bernardo start - Manchester City predicted line up vs Arsenal

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed Ederson will start tomorrow's FA Cup semi-final clash against Arsenal at Wembley.

Regular cup goalkeeper Claudio Bravo will miss the clash through injury but there will no City debut for backup goalkeeper Scott Carson.

The 34-year-old has deputised in Bravo's absence but Guardiola will select his number one for the game against the Gunners.

"Eddie is going to play because Claudio is a little bit injured - he was not on the bench, has a muscular problem and he’s not able to play tomorrow. Everyone else is fine," he said.

Guardiola confirmed Joao Cancelo is available after recovering from a leg injury but expect Kyle Walker to retain his place at right-back. Eric Garcia and Aymeric Laporte should continue to develop their partnership in central defence with Benjamin Mendy taking his usual role at left-back.

Rodri should anchor the midfield two consisting of Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan. The Belgian is enjoying one of the finest seasons of his career and is a guaranteed starter. Guardiola has often utilised Gundogan in bigger games so the German should get the nod over David Silva. Phil Foden is in contention.

Up top, Sergio Aguero remains injured so Gabriel Jesus will hope to extend his good run of form. He could be partnered by Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva.

Manchester City predicted XI to face Arsenal: Ederson; Walker, Garcia, Laporte, Mendy; Rodri, De Bruyne, Gundogan; Bernardo, Sterling, Jesus.
