Police are warning residents in Avondale and Irving Park of a series of garage burglaries reported recently on the Northwest Side.
In each case, someone entered the garage through an overhead door or side door and took property from inside, Chicago police said in a community alert.
The burglaries happened:
- At 5 a.m. on Oct. 5 in the 3300 block of North Sacramento Avenue
- At 5:21 a.m. Oct. 5 in the 4400 block of West Waveland Avenue
- Between 8 p.m. and 5:45 a.m. Oct. 6-7 in the 3600 block of North Albany Avenue
- At 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 3600 block of North Kenneth Avenue
A description of any suspects was not immediately available.
