Police are warning Hermosa residents about a pair garage burglaries earlier this month on the Northwest Side.
In each case the suspect either damaged the side door or pried it open, Chicago police said.
The first burglary happened about 6:20 a.m. April 13 in the 4300 block of West Dickens Avenue, police said. The other occurred between 1:27 p.m. and 7:14 p.m. the next day in the 2000 block of North Kildare Avenue.
In one case, the suspect was described as a tall man about 30 years old wearing a black jacket with a tiger on the back, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
