Police are warning South Side residents after several garage burglaries were reported this month in Beverly.
In each case, someone got into garages by breaking a window and stole tools, bicycles and lawn equipment, Chicago police said in an alert. Some of the garages were left unlocked.
The burglaries happened between 12 a.m. to 6 a.m., police said.
They occurred:
- Nov. 5 in the 9100 Block of South Bell Avenue
- Nov. 9 in the 9000 Block of South Hamilton Avenue
- Between Nov. 11 to 15 in the 8800 Block of South Leavitt Street
- Nov. 25 in the 9300 Block of South Longwood Avenue
- Nov. 28 in the 9000 Block of South Hoyne Avenue
A description of any suspects wasn’t available.
