Garage burglar strikes twice in Little Village

Police are warning residents about a pair of garage burglaries in Little Village on the Southwest Side.

In each case, a man forced entry to the side door of a garage and took property, according to Chicago police.

The first break-in happened between 12:05 a.m. and 5 a.m. Jan. 30 in the 3000 block of South Pulaski Road, police said. The other happened between 12:01 p.m. and 12:22 p.m. Feb. 6 in the 2800 block of South Kildare Avenue.

The suspect was described as a 6-foot-2, 180-pound man between 50 and 57 years old, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8382.
