South Wales Police inspector Karl Roberts said: “Those visiting or working at the shopping park have the right do so without feeling intimidated or harassed, and I would appeal to those frequenting the area to meet with friends to be considerate of others and be mindful that if their conduct is deemed to be antisocial or criminal, they can expect to be dealt with appropriately by my officers.

“Our neighbourhood policing teams regularly patrol the area, and anyone with information or concerns is encouraged to stop and discuss with them. Alternatively please call 101.”

Antisocial behaviour - what is it?

A spokesperson for Morfa Shopping Park said: "We are aware of some anti-social behaviour that occurred last weekend at the shopping park.

"Although there have been no further incidents, we are working closely with the police and are increasing security presence on the park to prevent any future incidents.

"We are fully focused on keeping Morfa Shopping Park as the premier retail destination in Swansea; anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and we will take the necessary measures to deal quickly and effectively with such issues."
