Gang war horror outside Regent’s Park mosque as car ploughs into victim during knife fight

A car drove into a group of men outside Regent’s Park mosque as they appeared to be locked in a knife fight.

Shocking footage shows several men brawling in broad daylight, with some wielding weapons, before a car ploughed into the crowd on Saturday afternoon.

The video also shows traffic brought to a standstill, with the fight spilling into the road and blocking two lanes of buses in the busy central London area.

Onlookers watched the incident unfold while the men lunged at one another, threw punches and wielded what appear to be knives.

Suddenly, a black car drives through the lanes of traffic, striking the group, and shouts from onlookers can be heard.

At one point, a bystander appears to get involved, seeming to urge the group to stop, whilst one man is pinned to the ground, waving a knife around.

The footage, which was posted to X, drew comments commending the man for his bravery getting involved.

One commenter says: “Brave man at the end there at least attempting to intervene and call help, which of course is dangerous given their proximity and weapons.

This comes days after another video, showing a knife fight in broad daylight in Brixton, south London circulated X.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Met Police received multiple reports of a large disturbance on Park Road, NW8 at around 15:48hrs on Saturday, 27 September.

“A group of men were witnessed fighting in the road before being involved in a collision with a single vehicle.

“Officers responded, and one man was located with stab injuries. His injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.

“A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray. He remains in custody and enquiries are ongoing.
