A Garda manhunt has been launched to find a gang of thugs who brutally assaulted two young men in Dublin city during a late night attack.
The pair, who are both in their 20s, were set upon by a group of men in the Pearse Street area on Sunday after 11pm.
Dublin Live understands that one of the men assaulted is Syrian while the other is from Iraq.
And while Gardai are investigating "all circumstances" surrounding the attack, they added that they do not believe the assault was "racially motivated".
One of the victims was rushed to hospital following the incident, needing treatment for non-life threatening injuries while the other also sustained minor injuries during the beating.
