A gang tried to take control of a double decker bus that had broken down.
One eyewitness told the ECHO they saw a group dressed in black on board the bus parked on Heygarth Road in Eastham, Wirral.
They said: "I was just coming home from work and there was a group of lads on there.
"I didn’t get to see their faces or who they were, they were all dressed in black and as I was putting my little lad to bed I saw the police turn up and look inside the bus with a torch."
