A group of three men in dark clothes stormed a Glasgow home before threatening the residents with a knife and a hammer.
A manhunt has been launched for the thugs following the incident, which took place at 11.30pm on Wednesday June 30 on Brent Road in the Thornliebank area of the city.
The gang are believed to have made off in a dark coloured SUV, leaving the residents “shaken” by the experience.
The men drove off towards Boydstone Road.
Thankfully nothing was stolen and no one was hurt.
Police Constable Heather Ferry of the Glasgow Robbery Unit said: “Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing and we would urge anyone with information to come forward.
“In particular we would be keen to speak to anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV or door bell footage from the area at the time of the incident or afterwards.
“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting incident 3922 of 30 June, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
