A man was stabbed in the leg with a "machete" outside Wirral Met College's Conway Park Campus.
Merseyside Police rushed to Europa Boulevard in Birkenhead at 3.40pm on Wednesday, September 21, following reports of an incident. Officers arriving at the scene found an 18-year-old man who had been stabbed in the leg.
It was reported four men opened the door of a car the teenager was sitting in before stabbing him in the leg. The gang then made off in a dark coloured Ford Focus towards Conway Park.

Eyewitnesses said they believe the men were holding machetes. Police have said they believe the attack was targeted and the victim is receiving treatment for his injury by paramedics.
Officers are currently at the scene and an investigation is now underway including witness, CCTV and forensic enquiries being carried out in the local area.
Detective Inspector Ruth Tickle said: “Enquiries are in the very early stages to establish what has taken place. I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Europa Boulevard by the college and at around 3.30pm onwards this afternoon and seen or heard anything to come forward and speak to us.
“I would appeal for residents in the area to check your CCTV, dashcam and doorbell footage to see if it has captured any footage as it may help with the investigation.”
