Gang smash van into posh jewellers Tiffany's before moped thieves raid store

Ram-raiders have stolen jewels from top-end jewellers Tiffany's in west London.

Police say a transit van was used to smash into the store and then was left at the scene before moped raiders snatched items at the Knightsbridge jewellers and fled.

The raid was carried out at the premises in high end shopping district Sloane Square just before 3am this morning.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said police are still hunting for the culprits.
