A woman has been left "traumatised" after being assaulted and subjected to sexualised verbal abuse by a gang of youths at a busy Falkirk tourist spot.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place on canal path near to the Falkirk Wheel Visitor Centre last Wednesday, August 12.
The 28-year-old had been approached by four males and two females, aged between 11 - 20, by the Forth and Clyde Canal at around 6.45pm
They then launched the attack and verbally abused her using sexualised language.
Two of the youths were on black and white bikes.
A police spokesperson said: "This incident was extremely traumatic for the victim and Police are keen to identify those responsible.
"If you have any information that could assist, please call 101 quoting PS-20200817-1717."
