A police car was 'attacked' by a gang of youths armed with a carton of eggs in Wirral.
Merseyside Police were in Leasowe, Wirral this evening (Monday, September 20) when they came back to their car to find it has been 'attacked' by eggs.
Merseyside Police posted about the incident on Twitter and vowed to prosecute all the youths identified through CCTV and body cameras.

A spokesperson from the force said: "While seizing a vehicle in Leasowe this evening, a police vehicle was attacked with eggs by a group of youths.
"We will work to identify offenders through CCTV, and body worn video footage.
"We will prosecute all those identified and deal robustly with ASB in Leasowe."
The force were in the area after the public reported an off-road bike was causing issues on Twickenham Drive.

Once in the area they found the bike, along with the 14-year-old rider.
The bike was seized by officers and the 14-year-old detained.
A spokesperson added: "Anti-social vehicle use remains a priority for us in this area."
