Gang of yobs terrorise community and burgle a pensioner - police want to speak to these boys

Police investigating a gang of yobs who have been terrorising an area of Denton have released pictures of the boys they want to speak to.

Officers looking into eight different incidents over a two week period in the last month, including an elderly person falling victim to a burglary, have identified a group of youths they want to speak to.

CCTV images of several young boys, in their teens, have been released by GMP.

Although the faces of the youths involved have been blurred out, police are hoping someone will be able to help them identify those pictured.

The images were shared on the GMP Tameside South and West Facebook page.

A member of the neighbourhood team said: "Police have released CCTV images of several youths that officers would like to speak to in connection with eight separate offences that have happened over a two week period this month, June 2021, in Denton.

"The offences include anti-social behavior and burglary involving an elderly victim.

"Anyone with information that may help police identify those pictured is asked to contact PC Daniel on 0161 856 9484, quoting incident 2816 of the 13th June."

Information can also be passed on through 101, or by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
