He was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after sustaining serious facial injuries after being punched and kicked.

Police say the assault, which happened on Monday, June 28 between 6pm and 8pm, appears to have been unprovoked.

Detective Constable Peter Lagan of Maryhill CID, said: “This appears to have been an unprovoked attack which has left a man with serious facial injuries after he was punched and kicked.

"Also, if anyone was driving and may have captured footage on dash-cam that could help with our enquiries, please get in touch.

“If you can help please contact us on 101, quoting incident 3134 of Tuesday, 29 June, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
