Bengaluru Rural police have cracked a recent robbery on the outskirts of the city and arrested a gang of robbers who had been targeting commuters in the Devanahalli and Doddaballapur belt on the city’s outskirts.
Probing the robbery of workers of a chicken shop from Doddaballapur, where three employees were brutally assaulted and robbed of ₹7.64 Lakh on March 7, police have now busted a gang of three robbers - Ajay, 28, Puneeth, 25 and Sridhar, 27. The three had formed a gang and were behind a series of robberies over the last few months, investigations have now revealed, police said.
