Gang of 'four animals' hold gun to young Finglas mum's head before savagely beating her

A fundraiser has been created for a Finglas woman who had a gun put to her head by four "animals" who trashed her house last week.

The woman is a young mother who was "badly beaten and left for dead" after the gang tore her house apart last Thursday, August 12.

A fundraiser has been created online in the hope of helping the woman rebuild her life which you can find here.

Cathy Keenan organised the GoFundMe page, saying: "Young Finglas mother attacked in her own home on 12.8.21 mistaken identity.

"Her family home completely trashed. Gun held to her head and badly beaten and left for dead by a gang of 4 animals.

"We are seeking help even a small donation to help get this family back onto their feet.

"All their clothes were shredded in the attack. Furniture ripped to shreds."

A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating an aggravated burglary which occurred in Finglas on the 12th August 2021 at approximately 11:30pm.

"No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing."
