Gang of 15 men violently attack two men and women in horror Scots park attack

Two men and two women were allegedly violently attacked by a gang of up to 15 men in a horror assault in Perth.

Two victims were rushed to hospital, one for surgery after sustaining serious facial injuries, and the other for a minor facial injury.

The gang had been congregating near the tunnels in South Inch Park near the pavilion at 10pm on Saturday, March 6.

It is alleged they verbally abused the victims as they walked past before following them and launching an attack.

Although there was a large group involved, police have identified two people in particular as being responsible.

The first is described as white, 6ft 2 with straight black hair and wearing a light blue Stone Island jumper at the time of the attack.

The second is described as white, about 6ft, bald with a noticeably round face, wearing a hooded top.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak to any police officer.

"Information can also be given anonymously through CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is incident 4415 of March 6."
