Gang of '100 teen animals' terrorise estate 'kicking lumps out of each other'

A 100-strong gang of teenagers took over a quiet estate on Sunday night and were seen "kicking lumps" out of each other.

Footage shows the group, reportedly led by girls, marauding around as they terrorised the area.

One eyewitness said he quickly warned parents if their children were out to get them in and safe as soon as possible.

A video taken between the estates of Berrick and Ormond near Swords Manor in Dublin was recorded at around 9pm.

In the footage obtained by Dublin Live, the person behind the recording describes the gangs as "animals" adding that there is a "ton" of them.

They can be heard saying: "Look at these lot killing each other. They're all over the road, the wallies.

"There's tonnes of them. Animals, kicking lumps out of each other."

Another concerned resident added: "I sent out a text warning parents that if anyone had teenagers hanging around to try and get them in.

"There was about 100 teens who were after kicking lumps out of each other."

And another added: "Apparently a group of about 100 were between one of the parts of the estate.

"They were walking all over the road and they were drinking too I think.

"I've lived in the area my whole life and I've never seen any of these kids before.

"I called the Gardai myself but I fear that there will be more scenes like this".

Gardai has been contacted about this incident.
