ATLANTA _ A gang member accused of shooting at a police officer in south Cobb County last week has been captured in Carroll County, according to Channel 2 Action News.
Kevin Sosebee, a documented member of the Ghost Face Gangsters, is charged with several felonies.
About 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, officers spotted "suspicious activity" involving two men, who were in a vehicle at a gas station in the 6200 block of Mableton Parkway, Sgt. Dana Pierce said.
"When the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop," he said, "the passenger bailed and fired multiple shots at the officer."
The officer, who did not return fire, was not injured, police said.
The passenger returned to the car and the driver sped away. Officers followed, but lost track of the vehicle, Pierce said.
Authorities later found the men had ditched the vehicle on Venetian Way.
