A man has been assaulted near a Scots beauty spot by a gang including one thug wearing a Joker mask.
It took place close to the Mushroom Bridge on the Black Path in Galashiels in the Borders around 6.00pm on Tuesday July 27.
All three of the men involved were dressed in dark clothing and all had baseball caps and face coverings, according to Police Scotland.
This included a man in a Joker face covering and a Red Socks baseball cap.
Both of the others wore Under Armour baseball caps with dark face coverings.
The condition of the man who was assaulted by the group currently remains unknown.
Police are now appealing for information to help trace the suspects.
