A gang of men attacked an Irish tourist outside a pub in a holiday resort in Thailand, it's been reported.
Video footage has emerged showing the bloodied Irishman being assisted by emergency services at the side of the road.
The incident happened at around 3.30am on Monday morning in the city of Pattaya in the south of the country.
The tourist was left half-conscious and bleeding on the ground on his first night out after arriving in the resort city on holiday.

He was attacked by a group of around 10 men after a row outside the venue, local newspaper the Bangkok Post reports.
Police are examining CCTV footage as their investigation continues to identify the attackers.
