After spending some quality time in London, actor Parineeti Chopra is now back in Mumbai city. The actress on Friday made a rare appearance while visiting the Mumbai famous Lalbaugcha Raja as she joined in the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.
Taking to Instagram, Parineeti shared pictures from her visit to the pandal and wrote, "My heart is full. When you reach his feet, you can't help the tears... you can see it on my face. Divine, ever beautiful, our Gannu Raja. Jaidev jaidev!"
For the visit, the actress opted for a bright red salwar suit with mirror-work detailing.
ETimes paparazzi caught a glimpse of the actress on her exit. She was seen telling her security "aaram se" as ecstatic fans approached her to take photos.
Parineeti is the latest celebrity to line up to offer prayers to the Lalbaugcha Raja. Over the past days of the Ganpati festivities, actors including Kartik Aaryan and Randeep Hooda, among many others have been spotted visiting the famous pandal. Celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal and Esha Deol were also spotted visiting the pandal a few days ago.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti was seen in 'Amar Singh Chamkila', in which she shared screen space with Diljit Dosanjh. Imtiaz Ali helmed the film. 'Amar Singh Chamkila' presents the untold true story of Punjab's original rockstar of the masses, who emerged from the shadows of poverty and rose to the heights of popularity in the eighties due to the sheer power of his music, angering many along the way, which led to his assassination at the young age of 27.
