If you love gaming, there is one place that should shoot straight to the top of your to-do list.
Proving popular when it opened in The Gate in Newcastle city centre last year, The CTRL Pad is back bigger and better than before.
The gaming lounge has had a hugely successful first year in business, and thus have expanded to a larger unit within The Gate.
The space, on the first floor of the entertainment complex, is 300 sq. ft. bigger than their previous unit, making more room for their popular video gaming tournaments, which attract gamers of all ages from across the North East.
The premier gaming lounge is a popular venue to hire for birthday parties, corporate gatherings and hen and stag parties, and will now how a designated area for private hire.
The renovation has included a full refit of the unit, including new gaming rigs and a large café/kitchen area which will serve a brand new menu of hot and cold snacks, including loaded nachos, paninis and salads, as well as a selection of hot and cold drinks including monster shake extreme milkshakes.
Derek Place, one of the owners of The CTRL Pad, said; “After a fantastic first year in business, we are excited to be expanding to a larger and more impressive venue.
