The company's total expenses declined 29% to Rs 375 crore, with advertising and business promotion costs accounting for the largest share of expenditure.

“AI is going to benefit us significantly, and we are already actively working on it. Even our latest acquisition has a strong AI focus, which should further strengthen our capabilities. We are also pleased to have Mithun Sacheti join our board as a non-executive director, bringing deep entrepreneurial experience and strategic value,” said Nitish Mittersain, CEO of Nazara Technologies.
Among the company's three revenue segments — gaming, esports, and ad tech, gaming emerged as the largest contributor, with revenue rising 78% to Rs 278 crore.
Earlier this year, Nazara announced a Rs 500 crore fundraise via a preferential issue of warrants, drawing participation from Riambel Capital, S Gupta Family Investments, Plutus Investment and Holding, Classic Enterprises, and Founders Collective.
The company also unveiled plans to acquire a 50% controlling stake in Spain-based gaming studio Bluetile Games and its engagement platform BestPlay Systems for $100.3 million (around Rs 918 crore), its largest acquisition to date.
The gaming company had reported a 24% drop in revenue in the previous quarter to Rs 405.9 crore, with net profit declining 35% to Rs 8.8 crore, mainly due to the deconsolidation of Nodwin Gaming. Sequentially, the company returned to profit from a Q2 loss of Rs 33.9 crore.
Nazara also approved fresh investments in Rusk Media and Ncore Games.
India's only listed gaming company, Nazara Technologies operates a diversified gaming and digital media ecosystem spanning mobile gaming, esports, ad tech, and children's edtech. Its portfolio includes Kiddopia, Animal Jam, Fusebox Games, World Cricket Championship, and Sportskeeda, alongside offline entertainment brands Funky Monkeys and Smaaash Entertainment.
The company also owns Datawrkz, a digital advertising technology business.
Nazara has been steadily expanding its footprint across India, North America, and other international markets through a mix of organic growth, IP development, and strategic acquisitions.
