Here are the top games for Chiefs fans to keep an eye on in Week 5:

Falcons at Texans – Sunday, Oct. 6 – 12:00 p.m. CT
The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 6. The Texans are merely 2-2 after clearly going all-in on the season with some trades to sure up the offensive line and running back position. They’re still in the thick of the AFC South race with each team in the division boasting the same records. This is the week they should be able to get back in the win column.
This game is going to come down to which defensive front can capitalize against struggling offensive lines. I’d typically give the advantage to the home team, but this really feels like it could be a close game.

Broncos at Chargers – Sunday, Oct. 6 – 3:05 p.m. CT
It’s always a good day when two of the Chiefs’ AFC West rivals face each other because someone has to lose. The Broncos are reeling from opening up the season 0-4 and losing two close games at home. Meanwhile, the Chargers are dealing with the same old problems that seem to plague them each year: Injuries and choking.
It doesn’t really matter which team comes out on top during this game, but the Broncos could potentially help the Chiefs by pulling out an upset. The Chargers dropping to 2-3 potentially gives the Chiefs a three-game lead for the division.

Bears at Raiders – Sunday, Oct. 6 – 12:00 p.m. CT
Can former Kansas City Chiefs backup QB Chase Daniel do his old team a solid and defeat the Raiders? He did a good job against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. He’ll look to get back-to-back wins against a team he’s quite familiar with.
This game is also a homecoming for former Raiders DE Khalil Mack. He’ll be getting after his old quarterback Derek Carr throughout the game and could look to prove Oakland wrong for trading him away. At the end of the day, Kansas City fans should be rooting for a deflating Raiders loss on their home turf.

Packers at Cowboys – Sunday, Oct. 6 – 3:25 p.m. CT
In the near future, the Packers will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Chiefs for yet another edition of Sunday Night Football. The Cowboys are a good football team so this will be a pretty good test for the Packers to go on the road and face them at AT&T Stadium.
Keep an eye out for the types of things they struggle with on the road. Crowd noise probably won’t be a big factor for a veteran QB like Aaron Rodgers, but it could pose problems for his offensive line. Look at their offensive and defensive depth which has been tested early in the 2019 season.
