It’s raining here in Nottingham, but that will not quell spirits inside the National Videogame Arcade for the fifth day of the GameCity festival.

One again, Guardian games editor Keith Stuart, and games writer Jordan Erica Webber will be live streaming from 9am, chatting to developers and industry veterans.

This morning we’ll be talking to indie developer James Parker of Bristol-based studio Ground Shatter about forthcoming brawler, Skyscrappers. We also have Alex Roberts, the lead engineer at the National Videogame Archive who will be telling us about reviving old coin-ops.
