Game tip: 'Fortnite' Baller, where to find the new vehicle

"Fortnite's" new vehicle, the Baller, is a glorified hamster ball with a bit of extra kick. This agile little thing comes with its own grapple gun, allowing the driver to swing around the environment with impunity. If you want to experience the thrills of the Baller, you're going to need to know where to find it and how it works.

WHERE TO FIND THE BALLER

The Baller can be found at the expedition outposts around the Fortnite island. Expedition outposts are large red hangars with doors flanking one side. Because only one Baller spawns at each outpost, you will need to rush to one if you want an opportunity to swing through the trees.

These outposts were a part of some "Fortnite Season 7" challenges that tasked players visiting specific areas of the map. Anyone familiar with "Fortnite" should have no trouble tracking down the location of these expedition outposts and claiming their own Baller.

HOW TO USE THE BALLER

The Baller, as the name suggests, is a giant hamster ball _ kind of like the ones from "Jurassic World." However, the Baller offers one very important difference: it has a grapple. The grapple can be fired as many times as you like, but keep in mind there is a retracting time and travel time.

The Baller is easy to pick up and start using, but difficult to master. Use the movement keys or stick to control the direction the Baller goes. The jump button activates a boost, while the shoot key fires out the grapple. By stringing together the shoot and boost, you can effectively tether yourself to a point, boost out to gain momentum, and slingshot out to another point with incredible speed.

The Baller is definitely one of "Fortnite's" best new vehicles. While flying around in a plane is thrilling, being able to swing from tree to tree in a giant hamster ball is even better.
