The Georgia baseball team will play host to a trio of other programs this weekend in Athens as part one of the ‘Road to Omaha’ and the College World Series.
Mercer, Florida State, and Florida Atlantic come calling with a scorching hot regional in the Classic City to determine who will advance to Super Regionals next weekend for a chance at Omaha.
Now, game times have been announced for the bracket.
The first game between No. 2 Florida Atlantic and No. 3 Florida State will take place at 12:00 pm on Friday while game two between No. 4 Mercer and No. 1 Georgia is set for 7:00 pm.
Though the teams participating are to be determined, Saturday will feature two games at 12:00 and 7:00 pm well as Sunday at 1:00 and 6:00 pm.
If there is to be a final game on that Monday, first pitch is still TBA.
This is the second season in a row that Georgia has made the NCAA Tournament, having not been to the College World Series since 2008.
With a 44-15 record, the Bulldogs are the No. 4 overall seed in the entire 64-team tournament and will look to advance after losing to Duke in the regional last season.
